Next time we play in Kilkenny it'll be a different story... If you're in Dublin in a couple of weeks we're playing Dorans. I'm told that it is fairly hard to hear anything on stage in the Zoo but I thought ye sounded good aside from the pedal static thing and I'll definitely check ye out next time you play in Kilkenny. And no problem Briain. Just to let both bands know, it's not that I have a "standard" before I'll shoot a band! It's just that at the moment we're all flat out with a lot of different things going on from Trainspotting rehearsals to KKM stuff, PR stuff etc and it doesn't leave a lot of time left over. It means I have to be a bit more selective when taking pictures as I don't have a lot of time to work on them and upload them etc. If a band is lacking in stage presence during a gig, it means there's nothing really interesting to take a photo of, or any reason for people to look at those photos, if you get me? So I hope both bands are in no way offended by the fact that I didn't take any shots of them. I thought our proformance was pretty bad this time and i agree that we need to put more action up on stage and be alot more lively! Personally I found it hard to get into it alright and could hear very little on stage, Rob has a broken rib so his movement was limited. I was depending on the soundman and Conor from BMU to let us know how it was sounding, both of whom said it was sounding good. I'm surprised you thought the sound was wimpy but I'll take your word for it. The static you were hearing was probably down to the baritones, some amps just don't take them well without a lot of tweaking... Anyway excuses, excuses... We'll be better next time.
