I’ve got a couple of upcoming projects which include artwork for E.Ps, some fashion stuff and some promo work, so I figured it was time for me to try out some studio stuff.

I’ve always noticed that a lot of inside artwork on solo artist albums are just random shots in different poses with plenty of room for lyrics, so wanted to give it a try. I’ve thrown together a low-budget studio as I slowly start gathering theany-day-now.jpg necessary equipment. (It’s amazing what you can do with some white sheets and some garden lighting!)

The only problem of course being the lack of model. Self-portraits; not only make me uncomfortable but are also very hard to do well. It’s a frustrating process of trying to find the right settings, trying to focus and frame the shot without somebody standing there and then move into position before the timer goes off.

The one good thing was I’m not used to shooting in such a bright enviroment. At this stage I’ve grown used to badly lit this-one-bw.jpgvenues and rooms, but now I’m open to a whole new set of rules to play with and try break.

So I’m extending an open invitation to anybody interested in being a model!? If anybody out there is interested in getting some alternative portraits, tattoo pics or promotional shots done then give me a shout and we can sort something out.
