It’s Christmas Eve, the next few days will be filled with three things: eating too much, drinking too much and being bored. Yes, we all know that Christmas is just one big anti-climax and once you’ve opened your presents, you’ve got absolutely nothing to do for the day, except all three activities mentioned above.
Well fear not, here’s the perfect cure for the boredom of Christmas day as you wait for your dinner, or after when you’ve
eaten too much! It’s also the perfect cure for a hangover, there’s nothing better than off-the wall comedy to ease your brain. Vultures Episode 1: The Kris Kringle Konundrum is now online and FREE TO WATCH!
Check out our first production launched under Kilkenny’s brand new film-making collective Microfilms. This first episode is the Christmas Special and a perfect way to introduce you to the world of the Vultures Private Investigators. Follow Jim Vultour (John Morton), Dan McGrain (Dave Thompson) and Niall Tennyson (Sean
Hackett); three hapless detectives and their personal dilemma’s when struggling to find the perfect Christmas present, the battle against the evil exploits of the mysterious ‘Bad Santa’ and solve the mystery of the missing Baby Jesus.
The show features a whole host of crazy characters from Jack Street - “the urban preacher” to Fred Bass - the damn good drinker, there’s African boy Andrew (whom we love) and Spade “the bastard hound”. It’s got
love, it’s got action, it’s got everything you need to avoid at least 40 minutes of boredom this Christmas!!! Or you could watch it twice!?
All of us at Microfilms are really looking forward to hearing what people think of the show. All that’s left is for me to do is wish you all a Happy Christmas from all of us at Microfilms and of course from KilkennyMusic.com and we hope you enjoy Vultures: The Kris Kringle Konundrum.
“It’s better than that film, the one with the bugs in space!”
