Between the madness of Christmas and working with Microfilms, I’m slowly but surely catching up on my backlog of work. Photos from the last OneTake Sessions of 2007 have just been added to the KilkennyMusic galleries. I’m not going to go into details about the gig, it was over two weeks ago and we’ve already had a good rant on SoundSystem Podcast show 36.

I’ve also uploaded photos from the Cleeres Xmas Party which took place on Sunday evening. The KKM Xmas Bash was originally scheduled for the same day but seeing as it had to be postponed we were all looking forward to this one. A completely crazy night with any attempts by KKM staff to actually pay for their drink being ignored!

Yes the party had it all; free drink, free food (no veggie option), Hitler and even Santa Claus himself made an appearance at one stage. Strangely enough Mickey Boo had just stepped out for a few minutes!? And when Mickey got back he was smoking the same brand of €14 cigar that Santa had been smoking as he danced around the pub with old ladies!?

The Chief managed to win himself 12 bottles of beer following a game of “Higher or Lower” with giant cards behind the bar, and then MickeyBoo’s raffle ticket landed him in the Sing-Star competition. He blasted through “Ice Ice Baby” in the first heat and then a duet dual through a random mega-mix of classic pop tunes to win himself a nicely stocked hamper worth €300. An inside source from Cleeres said “I can’t believe he won, it’s ruined Christmas for everyone!”
