Above: Clergy back in the day
Came across this one on myspace today, Hero in Error have released a demo of their brand new track, ‘Scene‘.
For those of you who don’t know; Hero in Error are a 3-piece progressive metal band formed last year by former
members of Clergy and Waiting for Vega.
Clergy were hugely popular with the KilkennyMusic gig goers back in the day, with a long string of great gigs. Waiting for Vega played their first ever gig, in Cleeres under the KKM banner. If you were a fan of either band then you’re going to like Hero in Error.
According to Hero in Error’s myspace profile, the lads will be hitting the studio in London at the end of March 2008, to record their debut E.P, which will have “Justin Hill and Dan Weller of Sikth turning the knobs“.
Hopefully we’ll see them hitting the stage in Cleeres shortly after that, but for now check out ‘Scene‘.

You can still hear a bit of clergy style vocals in the song
not just beacause of the same singer
