I got an email off Gar from 20BullsEach over the weekend to spread the word that the lads will be back in the Zoo Club on September 29th, and I see word is already spreading here on the forum too.So I’m giving people plenty of notice on this one, don’t miss it!

20BullsEach are an excellent hardcore punk band from Dublin, I first met up with the lads well over a year ago, Inormal_20bulls_8.jpg travelled up to Dublin to do a shoot with them in the studio as they were laying down demo tracks for their album, Lost Causes. The album is a cracker, and they’ve got to be one of my favourite Irish bands, they’re at the top of my “Oss237 Recommends” list, you can listen to some of the tracks off Lost Causes on their myspace, we played “Make your Stand” on SoundSystem podcast show number 4 and you can also check out normal_20bullseach-1.jpgsome of my shots of the lads in action in the Zoo last summer and in the studio here in their KilkennyMusic gallery. I can’t stress it enough, don’t miss this show!

20BullsEach are just back from a two week tour in the States and you can have a read of their 14 day tour diary on Hardcore Times.

There’s plenty of support on the night too. They’ll be joined by Tullamore based experimental/hardcore metallersmurdock.jpg Murdock. I’ve just been checking out some of their tracks on myspace and they sound great. Also on the bill ninelives.jpgare Dublin based punk rockers Nine IX Lives and you can check out their catchy as hell tunes here on their myspace.

Newly formed local two-piece the Thermal Detonators will be blasting it out too. The lads played at the Battle of the Bands final on Sunday as we added up the scores, I only caught the end of their set but I’m looking forward to hearing more of them.

So there you have it, advanced warning so there’s no excuses for not checking out a night of hardcore punk in the Zoo, a nice refreshing change from the abundance of metal gigs and I can’t wait. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a few tracks from each of the bands up on the Sound System Podcasts in advance.
