I’m a huge fan of Simon Pegg, and anybody who’s a big fan of Shaun of the Dead should check out the graphic novel version of the film. I recently picked up a copy from Play.com and even though I’ve seen the film countless times and thecomic2.jpg book is pretty much identical, I still laughed out loud as I read it.

The graphic novel is a “directors cut” and pretty much has everything the box office hit had; hilarious situations with zombies which are brilliantly drawn by Zach Howard. Some scenes and jokes have been left out, probably due to the fact that they wouldn’t transfer over very well, but it’s still got the hilarious feel of news_1379_1.jpgthe rom-zom-com (that’s romantic zombie comedy).

When I discovered the graphic novel, I searched around for some reviews and came across several sites that talked about a sequel to the film, From Dusk till Shaun, done only in a graphic novel format. Now from what I can tell, these are still only rumours but hopefully it’ll go ahead. If anybody does know anything about this or where I can find out more then let me know.
