I’ll keep this post short today, I got an email off Alan Slattery to let me know that he’s just put up a new trailer for Skunk Fu on his website. Not sure why he sent me an email, seeing as we live together, but I’d recommend people swing by and skunkfu3.jpgcheck this out.

Skunk Fu is the latest offering from local animation company, the Cartoon Saloon, first aired on BBC1 on Monday, Julyskunkfu6.jpg 9th and runs weekdays at 3:45pm, with a total of 52 episodes completed by September. (I think I said 36 episodes in an earlier post so I apologise). To date the series has been sold to 22 countries including Australia, Germany, France and will broadcast on TG4 some time soon aswell.

The Children’s animated comedy Adventure series also has a theme tune written and performed by the notorious “Ghost Face” of the Wu Tang Clan to gel with the hip hop Kung Fu flavour of the series!

Swing by AlanSlattery.com to have a look at the trailer cut together by Sla, the show is intended for an audience of 6-9 skunkfu2.jpgyear olds but I’m just a big kid anyway, I mean come on; it’s got Ninja monkies and a whole host of wacky animals trained in martial arts!

From what I’ve seen so far, it looks great and I’m looking forward to seeing the entire series. It’s great to see a production of this quality coming out of Kilkenny and you can see what other projects the Cartoon Saloon are up to on their website.

In other news, myself and Boo sat down last night and finalised the script for the upcoming ‘Trig& Boo’ movie. It’strigboo.jpg shaping up to be the greatest buddy cop adventure of all time (in our opinion). Shooting is set to take place near the end of August meaning it’s not too long now until the legendary cop duo are seen in their biggest adventure to date. The cast is being finalised and will feature all members of the KKM staff in various roles aswell as a few forum regulars and KKM heads. As always I’ll keep you posted! (Hmmm, that’s beginning to become my end of blog catchphrase, isn’t it!?)
