This weekend saw my first gig shoot with the new camera and I’m more than happy with how it went. Still getting used to the slight changes and have a whole lot more to learn but the 18-135 lens really makes all the difference and the picture quality is amazing.
So, there’s three brand new albums […]

Last night saw my first proper chance to really test out my new Nikon D80. I headed out to the new practice area with Itchy Trigger Finger and tested it on Daw’s brand new Sonor drumkit. The kit is huge and perfect for shooting, all shiny and white to reflect plenty of light.
This time last […]
I just set up two brand new folders in the KilkennyMusic Galleries, dedicated to Limerick rockers Lost for Karma and Mullingar rockers Waiting to Explode. The folders contain all my shots from last Saturday’s gig in Cleeres Theatre.

The band sat in the studio listening to the final mix of all five tracks, with smiles on their faces. The recording process hasn’t […]
WARNING: The following rant may contain spoilers!!!!!!!
Over the years I’ve become quite wary when I hear about a new superhero film. There just constantly seems to be one big budget disasterpiece after the next.
Don’t get me wrong, not all comic book transfers to the big screen are a disaster, I thought Christopher Nolan did a […]
Over the last few years I’ve missed a long list of my favourite bands playing for one reason or another. Tattoo the Planet was postponed due to September 11th and when re-sheduled Pantera weren’t on the bill, and would never return to Ireland. I’ve had tickets for Less than Jake and the Deftones but […]
