Best of luck

I just want to say a huge best of luck to Bob, Eddie, Graeme, Andy and John, better known perhaps as hardcore metallers, SlaveZero.

Tonight is a big night for them, and indeed a big night for the Kilkenny music scene, as they play support to U.S metal giants HateBreed in the Temple Bar Music Centre. This will be a huge opportunity for the lads and a chance for them to put the Kilkenny metal scene on the map aswell.

I’d love to be heading up to this one but unfortunately I’m back to college today, with exams looming and assignments coming out of my ears at this stage. I did have the chance to shoot the guys in action in Waterford with Itchy Trigger Finger and Atrax Mantis two months ago, check out the Slave Zero album in the KKM galleries.

I was also at the Kilkenny warm-up gig last week but that one is a bit of a blur, myself and Robbie from ITF managed to plough through a bottle of tequila at the bar. You can also check out Ken’s thoughts on their Carlow warm-up gig.
