Ahhhhh’m back after a good few days away (hitting the road at 6am this morning to get back to Kilkenny) and I’ve a new track demoed for my efforts.

This weekend I got to attend the launch of Lakeside Studios in Sligo. What is this mystical studio you speak of? It may be familiar to certain members of staff who, with blatant disregard for non-existant equipment at the time, drank copious amounts of Jagermeister there last December.

Or maybe there’s just no studio.

And maybe I locked myself away in a large loft, set up a large recording space for myself with extra screens, monitors, mics and various guitars for the weekend.

Either way, I’m putting some finishing touches to ‘Everybody Changes’, a new track, this week and I might fire up a preview on the blog and MySpace… just need to sort out the idea for strings and percussion and we’re laughing.

Then it’s off to re-record the WHOLE lot of it. Nice and friendly time-wise too, running about 3m 40s at the moment. Thank God Easter weekend is coming.
