The “media whore” trail hits Dublin tonight as myself and Ross make tracks for the 2008 Irish Blog Awards. Seemingly I’m the one to talk to about anything while he’s the mohawk-boasting ninja in the corner drinking too much and rambling incoherently about blogs.

My own blog is nominated under ‘Best Technology Blog’ while we’ll be there collectively to represent KilkennyMusic.com under ‘Best Music Blog’.

Trust me - there are NO illusions here! We’re up for the meet and greet, have a few pints and get tucked into the first of the major events of the year.

Anyone in the Dublin area thinking on hitting the blog awards, it’s on in the Alexander Hotel (Merrion Sq.), kick off is 7:30pm and tickets are 10 euro, available on the door. All proceeds raised go to three fantastic charities.
