‘Getting Ahead In The Music Industry’, a day being organised between ourselves and ArtLinks here in Kilkenny has been postponed until the New Year. We’re still on course to hold the day in Wicklow later this month (November 24th) but the Kilkenny leg has been put off for the time being.

Being honest, I’m disappointed. Myself, Daw and Ross were preparing the course material for the first half of the day, the second half being taken up with IMRO, FMC, Davy Holland and Faction Records’ Ken Allen - read about it here - but the material will carry over to Wicklow on November 24th.

Hopefully we’ll find out a date for the go-ahead in Kilkenny, assuming that it will be in early 2008. In the meantime, don’t hesitate in contacting ArtLinks to declare your interest or registering for free as a practicing artist / musician / dancer / writer / actor, whatever!
